[How to adjust the date and time on a quartz watch]:
First, pull the crown out to the first position (if the crown is locked, unlock it first) and turn it downwards to set the date. On dual-calendar watches, the date and day of the week are usually adjusted by turning the crown up and down respectively. Some models require the date to be adjusted using a push-button. Note: Avoid adjusting the calendar between 8 pm and 2 am, as this is the so-called ‘calendar restricted period’. You can bypass this by first adjusting the time to move past this period before adjusting the calendar. As the watch cannot distinguish between morning and evening, please adjust the time by 12 hours when the date changes at midday.
